Going to a Holiday Event Solo Dolo? The 3 W's You Must Know!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's holiday season, so first Happy Christma-Hanna-Kwanza in advance!

 Around late November the world's (or at least U.S.A's) energy seems to shift into that of love,gratefulness & giving...and i'd be lying if I said I didnt LOVE it. However, with this wonderful time ahead comes GATHERINGS & CELEBRATIONS... lots of them.

As a party of one, it's not always the most comfortable thing to do. The pressure of being judged or the odd man out can make you feeling renting a boyfriend, ya know if the crowd is not particularly your good friends.

Whether it's a work gathering, distant relative's event or friend of a friends, here are the 3 W's to having a FAB time at any event.

1. WINE- Of course if you are a guess at an event, wine in my opinion is an appropriate thing to bring with you...but in OUR case, get two and get the party started before the party. Wine tends to be relaxing so a few glasses might chill you out.
2. WERK!- So Im kind of obssessed with the lingo of the queens (fabulous gay guys) but their words are so fitting sometimes...like WERK. Werking is when you are just 'bringing it'. At any event, you should be Werking that dress, hair, makeup nails, everything. Then you can work the party...so remember you should WERK to Work. lol
3. WATCH- If you are single at a party, it's cool (maybe just to me) to people watch. Be on the lookout for networking opportunities or you could be on the watch for some other single cuties...although it seems that they rarely show up.lol

At every event, make sure to be your fabulous self, solo or not. If a conversation gets too personal ('How old are you and when do you want to start having babies') then you can always politely excuse yourself ... then go get another glass of wine!
